Tutorial: Image Glossy Effect or Dreamy Effect

Instructions:

1. First open up Photoshop. Then start of with the image you want to do the effect on. I'm going to use this one. [HERE].

2. Then make a duplicate of that image by Ctrl+J or going to
Layers >> Duplicate Layer... then click OK. Like this: [HERE].

3. Then make it glossy by going to Filter >> Blur >> Gaussian Blur...
Like this: [HERE].

4. A window will open, choose a Radius to whatever you want. It's best to choose between 2.0 and 4.0 pixels. I use 3.5 pixels. Like this: [HERE].

5. Now set your new Layer's Blending Mode in layers palette to Overlay, Soft Light or Hard Light. I use hard light. Like this: [HERE].

6. Lastly you should Flatten the image. [HERE].

7. That is it. You have now made an image Glossy with a dreamy effect. Like this: [HERE]

Tips*- You can make it better by adding a few brush patterns and other effects on different layers.
