Instructions:
1. First open up Photoshop. Start off with a white background, any sized. I'm using 200x200 for this tutorial. Like this: [here].
2. Then open the brush palette. Like this: [here]. If you can't find it click on the brush button, near the top right corner there should be a button that looks like this, click on that and the brush palette should open up.
3. Now click on the 'Texture'. Once you click it and it should look like this: [here]. Click to open the palette picker and choose the patter that I picked. Use the settings in the screenshot.
4. Next click on the 'Dual Brush'. Once you click on that and it should look like this: [here]. Use the settings in the screenshot.
5. Now click on the 'Other Dynamics'. Once you click on that and it should look like this: [here]. Use the settings in the screenshot.
6. Go to the window you opened earlier. Using the brush you have just edited. Brush on the empty white background with black. Like this: [here].
7. Now go to Edit >> Define Brush Preset... A window should open, name the brush. I called mines, Grunge Brush. Then click OK. Like this: [HERE].
8. Then Select the brush you have just made. Like this: [HERE]. And use it for anything you want.
